One doesn't need to be Bill Gates to graduate from Harvard (he dropped out, probably because he was bored). The ivys are a textbook demonstration of The Lake Wobegon Effect -- "all the children are above average", so everyone gets an "A". Ted Kennedy graduated from Harvard, so it obviously doesn't take all that much.
Actually Ted was below avg and Joe had to buy a library to keep get his degree. He would have flunked out otherwise, but he is a Dem so that makes him a genius.
