Look how fast our spokesmen and talk radio ran away from Cliven over a few verboten words. What he said was true and he had sympathy for blacks on the plantation. The Marxists feigned outrage and sent him to the gulag and our side waved handkerchiefs as he was carted off.

Among the remarks bundy makes are the quotes of him claiming that the Mexicans are family oriented and he has worked shoulder to shoulder with them hardly racist comments from a supposed racist. Seems the NYT forgot to include these remarks.
