Rand Paul Wants Bigger GOP: ‘You Go to a Republican Event and It’s All White People’

Paul, according to CNN, also talked about making the Republican party “bigger” and much more inclusive, saying that unless Republicans “broaden their message” to reach more people, winning future elections is going to be a bit of a problem.

“You go to a Republican event and it’s all white people—not because we’re excluding anybody, but because we just haven’t done a good enough job encouraging people to come into our party.”

RINO like his father. Nothing wrong with that. Who shows up at Libertarian Party events?

And there’s something wrong with this?

Yeah, there is.

How did Reagan win two massive landslides? He sure as hell didn't play identity politics. Lots of blacks and Hispanics crossed over and voted for him.

You win by standing your ground and making your case built on your principles and telling the other side to go to Hell.

Of course they don’t listen...animals can get welfare or they can get more by working. We choose work, animals choose welfare

Yes. Everything. Start to finish. Nothing in the current platform needs to be adapted to cater to anyone. They can take it and benefit or leave it and do what they do now.

The message does not get through to the black community.

Honestly, they are under the spell of their “leaders”, and have to be very brave to “come out” as conservatives.

Just have a look at Huckabee’s audience. Rare is a person of colour. I really wish that people of any colour would do a little research and find out which ideology would cause them to thrive and prosper.

You don’t have to cater. Just explain the facts of life to them.

Blacks are gravitating to the conservative side but sure as hell isn’t because of anything the GOPe is doing. If anything its individuals drawing minorities to the right.

Tell ya what Rand. When Alan Keyes is the keynote speaker at the 2016 GOP Convention get back with us Conservatives on just how the party should be all inclusive OK? How about it Rand? Is Alan Keyes too conservative and extreme on issues for you? He is too radical for most of the GOP-E which seems to be whom you are pandering too.

Maybe they dont care.

Half of hispanics dont vote.

So 1/3 of Hispanics dont care, 1/3 are Democrat and 1/6 are Republican.

The only thing libertarians actually agree with conservatives on is limited fiscal spending.

Which is standard campaign stuff. So why do anything different than we have been? They heard it for decades and choose to do something different. It ain’t a new idea. Republicans have invited them in for a looooong time now. Founded the party on it in fact.

They don’t want it.
