“I want to tell you one more thing I know about the Negro,” he said. Mr. Bundy recalled driving past a public-housing project in North Las Vegas, “and in front of that government house the door was usually open and the older people and the kids — and there is always at least a half a dozen people sitting on the porch — they didn’t have nothing to do. They didn’t have nothing for their kids to do. They didn’t have nothing for their young girls to do.
“And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they do?” he asked. “They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. And I’ve often wondered, are they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things, or are they better off under government subsidy? They didn’t get no more freedom. They got less freedom.”

Second, who cares what they think? They are the ones that live in bizarro world. History proves they are the racist and they have to constantly deflect that fact. Conservatives would be better off reminding people of that rather than knee-jerk reactions to what someone said without stopping to actually take it in context and understanding.

Are most black people today “truly” free? I think one could rightfully argue that everyone black, white, or otherwise in America has the “opportunity” to be free now, and THAT is certainly 10000% a better situation than it was for many groups in the past.
But when you are dependent on government for everything, when the master (opps, I meant government) can take everything away from you if you don't do what they wish, can you truly claim to be free? True freedom (to me) implies to ability to take care of ones self and those dependent on you. To be under the yoke of anyone else whether it be a slave master or massa big government make anyone regardless of race into a slave or sorts.
It's quite simple: "Racism" is a Leftist dog whistle. Those who start barking have had Lefty Racism malware downloaded into their heads.
And where there's one piece of malware, there's probably more...
