I think the statistic I saw was 40% of black men enter prison at least once.

Prison isn’t much different from slavery.

Ok but 40% (??) of young black men ‘deserve’ to land in prison at some point?

I’d say violent offenders deserve prison. Of course.

I’d say some other folks (burglars, etc) deserve prison. Of course.

But some 18yo black kid caught with drugs on him? They throw him in jail for a couple years, and what’s the end result? Is that guy sitting in jail for 2 years ‘Better than slavery?’

If we gave that kid a choice of spending those 2 years outdoors vs. remaining locked in 7’ cube, which would he choose?

I think each prisoner would need to decide for himself how enamored he was of sitting in a cell.

Now that we have Eric Holder springing everybody from jail, I guess this debate will be moot.

True. But I think the point is this: Imagine if the Great Society Programs were never passed, that government did not have all these programs that destroyed the Black family. Hence, the percentage of blacks in prison would be much, much less.

There likely would have been intact black families and strong parenting. As a result, the vast number of criminals created by the Left's evil programs would not have been realized.

Bundy may not be PC, but the main thrust of his argument was against the evils of government dependency. I did not sense he was being racist at all.
