Thats exactly what I said. I said Im wondering if theyre better off under government subsidy, and their young women are having the abortions and their young men are in jail, and their older women and their children are standing, sitting out on the cement porch without nothing to do, you know, Im wondering: Are they happier now under this government subsidy system than they were when they were slaves, and they was able to have their family structure together, and the chickens and garden, and the people had something to do? And so, in my mind Im wondering, are they better off being slaves, in that sense, or better off being slaves to the United States government, in the sense of the subsidies. Im wondering. Thats what. And the statement was right. I am wondering.
So he’s wondering which form of slavery some people prefer?
I few of our friends and families are ranchers. I haven’t talked to them about Mr. Bundy, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the thought of him as an idiot right about now.
It appears to be his point.
good man. i wonder what he wonders.
Hmmm..I get a 404 error on the link. No author listed. Still waiting for some news on this. So far hearsay and innuendo.
Lefties always whine about how they want a “conversation on race in this country.”
Then they get it, and immediately slam anybody down who says something they don’t agree with.
They don’t want a “conservation”, they want a “lecture”.
And DON'T apologize, I might add.
Where’s the source?
Uggh, that should be “Conversation”.
This is so awesome! Fred Reed pointed this out over a decade ago. I’ve been mentioning it here (as have many others), and now, Bundy says “the emperor has no clothes” and the leftist media makes sure everybody hears him.
And guess what everybody is talking about? This is a really good thing.
I really like this Bundy guy.
Why? Just what did he say in context that makes him sound like an idiot?
His points are valid. The media will destroy him, and no one of prominence will defend him. In this country it hurts to be honest without a public relations firm assisting you.
Remember when everyone gathered around this guy based on his sophisticated and erudite take on public policy and race relations? No, neither do I. Folks mostly objected to the “1st amendment zone” and wanted the BLM to not shoot him in the head and take his cattle. His opinions don’t really impact whether the BLM should shoot him and take his cattle in order for Harry Reid to make more money.
Dear Leader Chairman Maobama will chime in on this shortly, I am sure.
None of this has any bearing on what we all witnessed last week where an out of control, militarized federal government brought their storm troopers to protect a freaking turtle and steal an old mans cows.
The point, dfwgator, is this:
We don’t wish to communicate to the talking heads. We wish to communicate with Americans as well as the international audience.
We know the Lefts angle. We understand their strategy. Our goal is-or should be-to effectively communicate to the general public in order to inspire and persuade.
And i’m guessing it won’t be to offer up the White House patio for a “beer summit” to smooth the waters ...
