Paul Ryan basically said the same thing about "Inner City" cultures!!

So now he has to go grovel before the Congressional Black Caucus.

“In front of that government house the door was usually open and the older people and the kids — and there is always at least a half a dozen people sitting on the porch — they didn’t have nothing to do. They didn’t have nothing for their kids to do. They didn’t have nothing for their young girls to do.

Sorry, everyone can just get all bent out of shape...his statement is essentially correct.

They don’t want to do anything because the gov’mnt is taking care of them.
He is slightly incorrect on the kids. They are sent to school.........where they do nothing except disrupt class.

Is he wrong on the abortion statement?
Is he wrong about the men going to prison?

Truth is ugly, but it isn’t racism.

anyone remember the kids toys from the 80s called “Tiny Mighty Mo’? The commercial had an earworm lik]ttle jingle that said “Just one push and off they go”. That’s Rand. There he goes off adopting the liberal buzzword ‘offensive’ and using it to score political points.

The only time conservatives talk about ‘being offended’ is when they mock liberals. Does anyone here run around telling people how ‘offended’ they are?

When people use the language of the left, you can safely bet they are familiar with it because they are OF the left. Leftists ponder whether things are ‘offensive’. Non leftists wonder whether or not things are based in truth. Perhaps he needs to either learn to hide his true beliefs better. Or better yet, be open about what he really is.

I agree with Bundy’s position on the BLM and detest the ridiculous and unnecessary overreach of the feds. But he’s also been his own worst enemy in some ways, and this is one of them. Mr. Bundy should get clear on what is important, and clam up about everything else. Sure he’s entitled to his opinion but when you’re the symbol of a greater struggle you will pay the price for shooting off your mouth on unrelated matters.

Everyone needs to be clear on roles. Bundy is a victim and NOT a sppkesman. What he thinks about any subject is irrelevant and the left will exploit this to put us on the defense.

Another knee jerk retreat from a guy who appears more and more like an entrenched politician with no core beliefs.

The left is out to destroy Bundy and they will trench up everything they can to do it.

Did Bundy even say what he is supposed to have said? The NYT says they “overheard it”. Then the MSM ran with it. Now cowards like Rand Paul are jumping all over themselves to distance themselves from Bundy and his supporters and the cause they represent.

Cowards. All of them.

Unless Bundy’s conversation was recorded, I don't see how the reporter was able to remember every word he said and put them in the correct context. Maybe the reporter was filling in the blanks.

Bundy’s remarks were not racist.

He was calling out the poverty pimping that has kept too many “on the plantation.”

Rand Paul went cheap on this; shame on him.

Where is the recording? Where is the witnesses? Where is there anything other then a NYT FAKE hit piece playing the race card to smear a good a good American.

They failed with the “war-on-women” card to smear him, now its a fake up story to push the race card. Even if it were true, which there is evidence its not, the race card is dead.

Source; The NYT so I take most of the story with a grain of salt. Or a large bowl of salt.
I do find it interesting that some of us predicted at the start of this that Clive Bundy would be called a racist before they finally arrived at the Final Solution.

I see. This is the part where they must “Cut off the support network and isolate, polarize, demonize.”

None of this has any bearing on what we all witnessed last week where an out of control, militarized federal government brought their storm troopers to “protect” a freaking turtle and steal an old man’s cows.

Any reporter with an once of integrity or intellectual curiosity would contact Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Allen West, Bill Cosby and, “for balance” Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton. Hang, even throw in Spike Lee.

Ask them all to comment on the ENTIRE premise Bundy made.

“Bless you prison, bless you for being in my life. For there, lying upon the rotting prison straw, I came to realize that the object of life is not prosperity as we are made to believe, but the maturity of the human soul.”

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago 1918-1956

Speaking to his brothers who had sold him into slavery many years earlier, Joseph told them, “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.” Genesis 50:20

The bird that refused to migrate

A little bird in Russia refused to join the pack which was flying south for the winter. It refused to listen to its’ parents and elders thinking it can tough it out.
Winter came and It was so cold so the bird froze and fell to the ground covered with snow. A cow came by and dropped some dung on the bird. The pile of cow dung warmed the bird and brought it back to life. It lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird singing took the bird out of the pile of cow dung, and ate it.

Morals of the story:
(1) Don’t discount experienced advice of people who care for your success.
(2) Not everyone who drops a load of dung on you is your enemy.
(3) Not everyone who gets you out of a pile of dung is your friend.
(4) And when you’re in a deep pile of manure, it’s best to keep your mouth shut!

No matter which way sliced. The comments were offensive. I think he was trying to portray how the government and Democrats have destroyed the black family. But the shoe was definitely inserted. Not helpful, because you know the media will now claim Bundy was basically the leader of the Tea Party.

Unlike Dems who get to have actual politicians arrested fby the FBI for gun running. Thems the breaks.
