For me it’s two reasons Samsung is better than an Iphone; One, you can replace the battery. Two, you can add more storage.

Piece of cake to change the battery in an iPhone. 5 minutes or so.

Two, you can add more storage.

The new HTC One lets you use the same memory cards as the Samsung Galaxy. They are easier to change out in the HTC too (it has a memory card slot on the side instead of under the battery).

The removable battery is an issue however. I usually keep cell phones long enough to replace the battery at least once. Plus I like to have a spare battery that I can swap out, but that is less of an issue now since there are low cost rechargeable external batteries that you can use with any cell phone (you just plug it into the usb port).
