someone was beaten to death by chengguan, which intensified public anger and drove more people to the scene-
"When the chengguan attempted to hightail it out of the crowd in their van, they were surrounded."
"The men were dragged out of the van and beaten senseless by the mob."

I hope the Chinese officials take note that the Christians communities never do this despite the abusive treatment they receive.

Heartwarming to see that even after decades of vicious government oppression Chinese citizens are still prepared to fight back against their oppressors and teach government workers a few manners.
Pity so few citizens in the so-called free west have the same sort of courage.
To: equalator
Now that’s the way to deal with corrupt government.

For most Chinese, this is exactly is why stability is important. Scenes like this remind them of the most brutal, lawless and chaotic days of the so-called Cultural Revolution. The Chinese government will not react well.

Such tragedies have happened again and again in recent years, said Duan Xingyan, a user of Weibo who identified himself as a police officer. The root reason is the severe lack of rule of law in our society.
Yea, it’s because the totalitarian Chicom regime has been too lenient.

Many drew a comparison to the case of Xia Junfeng, also a street vendor, who was executed for intentional homicide last September after he stabbed two chengguan to death during a clash. Xia said in testimony that he was fighting for his life as the chengguan set about violently beating him.Such tragedies have happened again and again in recent years, said Duan Xingyan, a user of Weibo who identified himself as a police officer. The root reason is the severe lack of rule of law in our society.
Yes the disintegration of the rule of law where the law applies to some but not so much to others builds slowly in people anger and resentment.
And it is just this sort of lawlessness that our president is working diligently to produce in our country. His refusal to prosecute those who commit election fraud, his biased prosecution of hate crimes, his incitement of racial hatred and his refusal to enforce our immigration laws all are building an atmosphere of lawlessness in this country.

"The men were dragged out of the van and beaten senseless by the mob."
The ruling class and tyrannical governments generally never learn until it's too late for them.
All the kings men, they're hired guns etc., always think they can control it.
History generally shows they quickly find they are way overwhelmed by the numbers...
