Does the Environmental Protection Agency really need armed agents? Outside of law enforcement, federal agencies now employ over 25,000 people as armed agents. They are more than guards. Theyve become like private armies that can push around private citizens.
Over 70 non-military federal agencies now have their own armed agents.
You expect armed agents with the FBI, the U.S. Marshal Service and the Border Patrol.
But the EPA? The Fish & Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management, even the Social Security Administration and the National Institutes of Health? Even the Department of Education and the Department of Housing and Urban Development have their own armed agents.
As do the Food and Drug Administration. And Veterans Affairs. Even the Government Printing Office and the National Zoo. And of course the Library of Congress
Collectively, over 25,000 individuals now work as armed agents of federal agencies not usually associated with law enforcement.
These are not just guards. These agents go out on raids to enforce the orders of federal bureaucracies. No bureaucracy should have a private army to enforce its orders against the American people.
It’s just one big standing army with many divisions, and they all march to the same tune. We are their enemy.
You are conflating a government called the 'United State of America' with a people called "Americans". So, in that regard, the entity "USA" is snooping on the USA's enemies, which happen to the Americans.
This should be something all Americans are against. Right or Left.

Exactly, which is why I don't understand the confused support over US action in Ukraine. Ukraine (and Iraq, Libya & Syria before it) is all about maintaining dollar hegemony. Without reserve status, the USA's ability to finance itself via printing money out of thin air 'evaporates' (pun intended).
The USA is so overstretched it cannot possibly meet all its obligations simply through economic activity and taxation. Like Germans opposed to the Reich, we should all be praying for the day the petro-dollar dies and we are freed from oppressive tyranny.
The agency heads are now minor warlords. The government is corrupt and beyond reform because the character of most of the people within our borders is beyond reform.
Which is why you'll never be president. You're not willing to continue the ongoing march towards Leninism/Marxism that has been happening since the 16th and 17th Amendments.
We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that weve set. Weve got to have a civilian national security force thats just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded. Ever think about how many armed agents working for the government agencies are here on this site as members? The job descriptions may warrant it? Wildlife? You can’t shake a bell to chase a charging grizzly. Terrorists will strike any place that draws large crowds or a place (site, i.e. Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Metropolitan Art Museum, Lincoln Monument, Hoover Dam, or the new WTC.) that will draw attention and make the front page or the 6 O’clock news. There are loads of Crusaders Criminals and Crazies out there to be protected from. BTW,I was pulled over for speeding by a wildlife officer on a regular road. I never knew they could issue tickets. Luckily he was a vet and saw my retired sticker. Even Brinks and Wells Fargo have their own army. Maybe I should worry, who knows the USPS may also have their own army, God Forbid.

It’s much older than that. Not saying it started with prohibition or the income tax, but they put it on steroids. Outlawing alcohol ended up creating a crime wave so severe the people and the states allowed the federal government to unconstitutionally form federal police agencies to deal with it.
And the income tax—more unconstitutional federal bureaucratic law-making power and more federal police power and its own court to enforce it. Then the national parks and park service, park police, BLM, Forest Service, F&G, USDA, conservation corps, make work corps... ...The Fed, EPA, SSA, Medicare, ObamaCare, etc., etc., etc. I’m sure all sounded like good ideas (and more or less harmless) to their respective advocates at the time, but all unconstitutional and all against the founding principles nonetheless.
Now every damned unconstitutional federal ABC agency out there wants to write its own rules and regulations (laws), have its own courts and its own police force to enforce them.
Give them an inch, they’ll take a mile.
The unconstitutional federal behemoth is now so huge and so entrenched that it will now take an act of God to make this right again. And, fortunately, God did guide the hands of the Founders and, thankfully, they did write the final recourse for we the people into the Declaration that established and founded this great and free nation:

The federal deficit means nothing when you can print or digitize as much cash as you need.

It sounds to me like the Office of Inspector Generals are generally armed. Why I don't know. They are auditors. They should call the FBI or local police if they need them. But I'm thinking that's not a lot of people. Maybe fraud perps kill unarmed auditors if they get too close to the truth?
The VA has the VA Police, but reading their description that's sounds like glorified security guards. Same thing with the National Zoo Park police.
Some of this gets down to are they security guards or Officers.
The GOP does not exist. These cowards have let themselves slip in a hole and will never climb out. King Obama will be Americas first dictatorship. The MSM, communists Democrats, and the weak immature mind of most Americans let it happen.
And, pray tell me, what are any of you going to do about it other than talk?
