NBC has been so alarmed at Meet the Press's decline, the network hired a "psychological consultant" to assess the host, David Gregory. The Washington Post reports:
Last year, the network undertook an unusual assessment of the 43-year-old journalist, commissioning a psychological consultant to interview his friends and even his wife. The idea, according to a network spokeswoman, Meghan Pianta, was “to get perspective and insight from people who know him best.”

I don’t like Dick Gregory, for the reasons you mentioned. However, he is doing exactly what they want him to do. The network bosses are the ones who need a psychiatrist if they don’t understand why his ratings are tanking. The low information voter (who everyone panders to these daze) isn’t going to watch Meet the Press.
He leaves the image of “Planet Of The Apes” in most peoples minds,hence zero credibility from “Monkey Man”

By design of stock ownership (Class A and Class B) and voting agreements, among other things, the man that can hire or fire Grgory at will is Brian Roberts, son of Ralph Roberts, who with a big silver spoon in his mouth woke up one day and was boss of the largest media empire in the US.
Roberts, a Jewish man himself, frequently brags about how big a pal and how much money he gives to fellow Marxist Obama.
So, Brian Roberts name needs to go Household at FR. Blaming Gregory or even discussing him is a fools errand.
Here's an idea,tie the EBT card to watching NBC. No watch, no free stuff.

You nailed it but I'll only add that most people have seen through the veneer of phony “hard questioning” Gregory tries mightily to simulate when quizzing liberals, while he attempts to skewer conservatives with "gothcha" questions.
Exactly, when their "strategy" is simply too predicable and has become very stale. How many times can one watch this and yell better questions at the TV and not become so tired so for relief we simply turn the channel.
Neither conservatives or liberals appear to like David Gregory. I don’t think it has to do w/ Gregory’s political views that no one likes to watch his show. I think no one likes to watch MTP because David Gregory sucks at his job. MTP is an unwatchable mess.
I’m thinking that there are two people left who want MTP to stay on the air...McCain & his lovely ‘buddy’ Lindsey. If not for MTP...how would we be able to hear the lovely tones of John and Lindsey?
Now why anyone would need to hire a psychologist to talk to Gregory’s friends (hello Karl Rove)...is beyond me. Would have saved some time if they just had the psychologist watch MTP a time or two. They would then just have to let the network folks know that there is nothing ‘wrong’ w/ David...he’s just not good at the job.
