Here is a good article on Obamacare written by one of the two public members of the SS and Medicare Trustees. It is devastating.

The Unfolding Fiscal Disaster Behind ACA Enrollment Figures By Charles Blahous

Earlier this month there was tremendous press attention to new data indicating that enrollment in the Affordable Care Act (ACA)’s health insurance exchanges had surpassed 7 million. The White House took a victory lap while much of the press, desperate to write something positive after months of reporting on website glitches and insurance plan cancellations, characterized the milestone as good political news for ACA supporters. Our national discussion, however, is missing the truly significant story here; what is unfolding before our eyes is a colossal fiscal disaster, poised to haunt legislators and taxpayers for decades to come.

It is quite possible that the ACA is shaping up as the greatest act of fiscal irresponsibility ever committed by federal legislators. Nothing immediately comes to mind as comparable to it. Certainly no tax legislation is, because tax rates rise and fall frequently, such that one Congress’s tax cut can be (and often is) undone by a later tax increase. The same is true for legislation affecting appropriated spending programs. But the ACA is a commitment to permanently subsidize comprehensive health insurance for millions who could not otherwise afford it, which the federal government has no viable plan to finance. Moreover, experience shows that it is very difficult to scale back such spending once large numbers of Americans have been made dependent on it. "

There are other gremlins hiding in plain sight: superinflation/super-interest rates.

Since the latter years of the Bush II administration, the FED had managed to reduce interest rates to near zero and keep the perception of inflation low. That is unsustainable.

When that damn breaks, as it did in the later years of Nixon through Carter, interest rates and inflation are going to skyrocket into the double-digits.

Ah yes, and here's something else:

what is unfolding before our eyes is a colossal fiscal disaster, poised to haunt legislators and taxpayers for decades to come.

It is quite possible that the ACA is shaping up as the greatest act of fiscal irresponsibility ever committed by federal legislators.

Well, actually Socialist Security, MediCaid, and the "War on Poverty" were all incredible wealth-distributionist, economy-killing measures, they'll be hard to beat.

As a population, we might just be smart enough to nip Obamadon'tCare in the bud. If not that is exactl right. Unfortunately all those other socialist RAT-programs are all still alive and well, plus many more.

Their bragging about how many people “signed up” for health care (sic by the media) utterly ignored any attention to detail—mainly, how many of these “enrollees” were subsidized?

The media shows no interest in reality. To me, it was all as if the DOW dropped ten thousand points and the Wall Street Journal blasted out a headline celebrating the “high volume” that was traded yesterday.

Absolutely they don't take the head of OMB out of that dept for nothing!

The real terror comes when millions sign as either medicaid enrollees at $5,500 per year on average or premium support people who pay little or nothing up to a part of their premium.

Guess who gets to pay for all that which won't be millions or billions but the cost will be in the trillions while bankrupting numerous institutions in the process. This boys and girls is the Cloward Piven sink the ship moment the hardcore commies have been waiting for.

They put the best and the brightest commies on it. Only someone willing to go through Vince fosters garbage total loyalty to the cause of US destruction with ivy league degrees will work. Its matthews burwell who will see to it the country goes down the tubes.

She will lead the country to the plank of the sinking ship and walk each and everyone of us with hands tied over the side.

And if anyone complains its because they are selfish, racist, simply don't understand or are evil Republican obstructionists just saying no one more time. You'll be able to read that in every DBM journal as the country slowly sinks into the abyss of never returning to capitalism.

All because we didn't stand up to a bunch of commies at the right time.
