I don’t think we’ve written here yet about the Bundy Ranch standoff, mostly because we didn’t have enough information about the situation to make a judgment about what really was going on. And I didn’t have enough time to figure it all out.
Was it, as some portrayed, a heroic struggle against an overbearing and overly aggressive federal government (in which case we might have taken the side of the underdog) or, as Harry Reid has portrayed it, a bunch of domestic terrorists looking for a shoot up? Or somewhere in between?
Which gets me to the title of this post, “What if Bundy Ranch Were Owned by a Bunch of Black People?”
I may be overly optimistic, but I don’t think they can. Reality — and age — is beginning to intrude on the ‘60s and ‘70s “activists” now in power.
They can only hold onto their ganja-fueled utopia for so long. Reality is a VERY cruel thing.
The Bundy family are members of the cult of Mormonism. Regardless of their heretical religious beliefs, true American Patriots — Christian and Jewish alike — are resolutely standing up for the Cliven Bundy and the whole family. While their religion is wrong, the Constitution is fully on their side. Core principles trump religion, race and national origin.

None of the ethnicity questions have any bearing on the issue.
While the BLM was rounding up cattle for a $1 million grazing fee debt, Obama was the guest of honor at an Al Sharpton event, who owes $1.9 million in back taxes. FUBO.
Yeah they would be GETTING millions from the Feds.

Honestly, I really don't. My comment was not in any way sarcastic or mean-spirited. I totally support the Bundys as they courageously stand up to tyranny. That said, Mormonism is flat out wrong. Indeed Mormons are often fine people but Mormonism is not at all fine as the boss has explained:
Free Republic is a pro-God site. The one and only true Judeo-Christian God as taught to us by KJV with no additional editing or books of fiction. I have zero faith in Joseph Smith or his so-called Mormon religion and do not want it taught on FR as gospel. Joe Smith was a false prophet and his book is false gospel (look it up in KJV).

Nice try. But we forget the Operation Move atrocity in Philadelphia 30 years ago. They might not have seemed like sympathetic folks to most FReepers, but they were American citizens who had their block bombed by the US Gov. Definitely a precursor to Ruby Ridge / Waco that we often forget about.
Not necessarily. Approx one third of the Waco massacre deaths were black people. The media is "hip" to what the government wants the low info voter to know.
