he Obama administration once again has punted on a final decision for the Keystone XL pipeline, announcing ahead of the holiday weekend it is extending a key review period indefinitely -- a move that could push off a determination until after the midterm elections.
Republicans, as well as red-state Democrats who want the proposed Canada-to-Texas pipeline approved, slammed the administration for the delay. Democrats even threatened to find ways to go around the president to get the project approved.

Obama is beholden to the enviro-wacko fringe of the population. He does not seem to care about the others, many out-of-work, middle class citizens. I actually think he believes he is immune to any negative reaction among his base, and can do anything and get away with it.
It will be interesting to see whether the reaction to this latest, goofy, decision will affect his numbers and those of the Democrats, especially in the Midwest.
There is no better word to describe Obama than the simple noun, ‘dope’.
Our northern neighbors should continue with plans to pipe their oil west and feed it to Asia to get paid for it. If we get rid of the “Progressives” running the US in 2016, and Canada still has interest, perhaps a deal can be done. Don’t expect any changes till then.
What can one say about the logic of these people? Several hundred of them.
Apply a carbon tax to every Airforce One trip. His fundraisers should just about break even. Really! That’s what liberals want so bad!
And then in December use some excuse to shut down construction.
Speaking of pipelines, it makes you wonder if we would be allowed to build the Alaska pipeline today. The way the enviro-extremists have such power, veto power apparently over major projects such as refineries and pipelines and nuclear plants, how do we neuter these people????
Not only no....but HELL NO.
I saw a documentary on that recently, and it's nothing short of amazing, what those people did. There's no way it could be done today with all of the agencies involved, rules/regulations, and potential liability concerns. It surely wouldn't be built as quickly as they did it, even with all of the modern technology and efficiencies that we have today. Pretty sad really.
