Senator Mary Landrieu’s voting record makes it clear: she is a consistent ally of organizations lobbying for abortion-on-demand. Since Louisiana re-elected Senator Landrieu in 2008, official scorecards from both pro-life and pro-choice groups show that Mary Landrieu’s votes have been 100% pro-abortion. Instead of voting with the majority of Louisiana, she consistently sides with organizations, such as NARAL and Planned Parenthood, that lobby for abortion-on-demand.
When polling shows that at least 58% of Louisianians are pro-life, Senator Landrieu departs from our pro-life values with her 0% pro-life record. She is too extreme for Louisiana, and these last six years have shown that more than ever.

Why would Senator Landrieu change her mind on such a basic concept as the right of a parent to be notified before an abortion is performed on a minor daughter in some other state? Even though the majority of Louisianians oppose late abortion, and similar legislation was passed overwhelmingly by the Louisiana legislature in a bi-partisan fashion, Senator Landrieu refuses to take a stand for this common-sense legislation. Louisiana should not have a U.S. senator that does not support legislation prohibiting late abortions after 20 weeks.

In the same year, they performed 333,964 abortions. Our government should not be giving any of our money to abortion businesses, no matter the stated purpose. Now, Planned Parenthood wants to build a regional abortion center in New Orleans, and is looking to expand in Baton Rouge. Would Planned Parenthood have the financial stability to build new abortion facilities in Louisiana if their tax-funding was gone? Louisiana should not have a U.S. Senator that sides with the wishes of the abortion industry. Since re-election in 2008, Mary Landrieu has voted 100% with Planned Parenthood. I remember when Landrieu first ran for election, she pretended to be pro-life. Because Louisiana is, indeed, a pro-life state. And, no doubt, she will make the same pretense when she runs again. The woman is an opportunistic liar.

If she is to be defeated in LA, they will have to do something about her brother who is Mayor of New Orleans and controls all of the dead people and multiple votes that are a way of life there.
Common sense would tell you that this wench is toast. However, this is the most corrupt state in the country, so it’s not a slam dunk to dump her.

Edwards will also have the support of the Mafia, and I imagine he will meet with Harry Reid on his next gambling trip to Las Vegas...
