You have a beautiful place. Aren’t you worried the EPA will classify that as a navigable waterway?
Here in Pa today..it WAS snowing! Poor Kitty was getting accustomed to sprawling on the deck. ..Big Tabby cat, he just stood there tying to get his bearings Ha!
Your kitties really, really love you!
I agree with Mark, the JBS jumped a serious shark when they poo-pooed the Article V process that is IN the constitution...
LOL! Actually we are classified as an eco something where I get a discount on water when we refill the pond after cleaning.
Birds are more monogamous and more family-oriented than many humans are. I always enjoyed seeing the geese and ducks return to my ponds on the Farm, every spring. The thousands of nesting-bird pairs in the tree-growing fields were amazing.
When I found an active nest, I’d tag the tree with my name *sold* and the customers would just have to wait until the nesting was completed, young ones flew away and the tree(s) became available again. Or choose another ‘empty’, available tree. Most people understood after seeing the babies in the nest. The few who didn’t got their walking papers from me.
marl, what about people who had decent jobs, and whwn they lose tjem, they are callesd freeloaders free of joblock.
I have had the same Menage a trois of Mallard ducks for the past at LEAST 10 years.......2 males and a female......Adorable!! They tend to nest under my lilac bushes...The bluebirds just tickle me...they are so darling! (I am a bird nerd) LOL
A colleague of mine mentioned to me that he got his taxes filed and that he was grateful to pay taxes and appreciated all the things that came from tax revenue. So sad...
Gotta love the “donation” verbage......
It’s nice when they “share”. My Farm cats “shared” all the time; they ate the heads and brought the bodies into me, blood trails all over the showroom and office.
You have bluebirds? I can’t attract them :o(
Mine are intact...just some “CLEAN” toothmarks behind the neck...tells me the cats are professionals...NO suffering...just snap the ole spinal cord after I’m done playing with ya.....EASY SQUEEZY! ;-)
I remember.
The 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus radical, psycho spoiled brats were celebrated in the establishment MSM as the most intelligent generation ever! They are now arguably that very establishment that praised them and they hold themselves and their ideological issue in even higher regard.
I think that everyone knows of the following.
And a hero for that very establishment today is still Bill Ayers, et al and here's from someone who was there with the 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus radical, psycho spoiled brats
"I want you to imagine sitting in a room with 25 people, most of which have graduate degrees, from Columbia and other well-known educational centers, and hear them figuring out the logistics for the elimination of 25 million people."
Eliminate 25 million people in reeducation centers? And when they said eliminate they meant kill.
We got another good look last week.
LMAO I just recalled a story from one of the paramedics that worked for me...He was a big fella and had thick hairy chest (don’t ask me how I know that ;-) ANYWAY....he awakened one night to the sound of crunching...the cat was chewing up the mouse while sitting on the guys chest...he said after shooing the cat asway, he found a couple mouse feet in his chest hair LMAO! EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
(YOu need a hobby...it appears Sudoku has lost its appeal ;-)
Get a bluebird house........and mind you, the size of the opening is VERY important...then put it in a sheltered/protected area.
I had bluebirds within a few weeks after I put up the house!
I have a flowering plum tree dead center in my back yard, in a raised stone round thingy LMAOA (I dont speak fluent landscape_ ANYWAY.....right beside the tree...I have a pole with the bluebird house...such that the lowest branches of the tree are “protective” in front of the bird house.......they seem to love it, and the WAR is ON come Spring when a chickadee thinks it is gonna nest in the bluebird house!! I also toss a handfull of mealworms into the area around the tree for the bluebirds (in the cedar chips) now and then during the summer, just to thank them for being there :-)
