Tis a bit cloudy here in Jersey, and for a lot of the east coast... so not much to see when going outside... but if anyone is awake, here's a great link to follow... almost there...
It’s a tiny sliver now here around Dallas, close to totality in the next few hours.
It looks grey.
Thank you. I was watching it happen from here in Northern California.
We just got a little cloud cover. Hope it clears away.
Thanks again for posting.
total eclipse begins at 2:06 cdt and ends at 3:24.

Full eclipse has begun.
I’m so glad we have the internet and livestreaming so we don’t have to miss things like this. It’s raining here in TN and I’m so p.o.’d! Been waiting for months for tonight. We live in the boonies which is perfect for watching the skies at night.
I’ve been watching on the NASA website since the eclipse started. The moon’s turning red now. Wish I was outside watching instead of sitting here at the computer. It’s just not the same. :-(
Went red here in Dallas. Getting darker by the minute. Mars off to the right. Great sight.
Watching it here in western Colorado, clear night sky, at 4800’ above sea level. Excellent viewing.
Think we’re maxed out here in Dallas area. The bottom area is brighter than the top. But still dark red.
About 90% in North Dakota at the moment. Deep dark red with a light sliver at the bottom.

You can also get a Slooh membership...cheaper than buying a telescope & a CCD astronomy camera! ;-)
Live just NW of LA—perfectly clear, just got back from a run and loved the serenity of the scene.
Fabulous in Hawaii ....perfect weather
Can’t see it here in Louisville. It is obscured by the inch of “Global Warming” which is falling.
