LAS VEGAS -- Local rancher Cliven Bundy may have his cattle back, but his supporters say they are still preparing for an imminent threat.
Militia groups from all over the country say they are flocking to the Bundy ranch to protect the family from a feared federal government raid.
The Bureau of Land Management allowed Bundy to release his cattle Saturday, after they felt threatened.
Bundy now has a whole contingent of armed guards surrounding him 24 hours a day.
"They're just there, trying to make sure something crazy doesn't happen to him," Bundy's son Ammon Bundy said.
His security detail and family feel he is someone to be protected because of what the federal government could do.

Perhaps folks need to start carrying ropes and let the corrupt pols see them and understand the feeling behind carrying of that rope. Just make sure it is long enough to go over the top of nearest lamp post and room for the noose.

And a good time to start boning up on guerrilla warfare tactics in urban settings. There's much to learn from groups like the IRA for example or from the Viet Cong. They used it against the US in Viet Nam, against far superior forces, namely us Americans.

You are so right. Having experienced this ‘I am power’ attitude at the city level from even a new dressed youngster I keep telling that this supreme attitude is real top to bottom.
It looks more and more like they will push until someone snaps, or until someone, even not wanting to give them the excuse, will have no choice but to resort to force to protect the weak or innocent.
If this is the case, perhaps we should consider that the longer we wait for that to happen, the more prepared they will be for it, and the more worn down we will be, not to mention the more observed, vilified, legally encumbered, disarmed, disheartened...
On the other hand, any leadership on our side does not seem ready to step up, be acknowledged, and lead. Perhaps they will be ready when the time comes.
My thought has been evolving on this. I do not want things to break out the way they seem likely to do so. But if it is inevitable, why delay overlong?

I was just referencing prevention and detection methods not the threat reaction measures but I do agree “highly assymmetrical action” or the element of surprise methods by utlizing uncommon, unexpected, and non-mainstream methods could be highly effective. A large percentage of the conservatives are former LEOs and military which is a good thing, especially when dealing with an opponent who may have the same mindset and realize that his Communist overlords are scuzzbuckets with no integrity and switch sides in the heat of battle. Well at least before they install brain stem implants that the can trigger remotely to cause pain if they don’t obey...j/k on that last part...: )

One day, in the hands of a conservative producer and director, this is going to make a great movie, the title being “The Last Rancher”. The only problem is the ending has yet to be decided.
