Police rushed around downtown Boston Wednesday night, responding to calls for help after a group of up to 20 males and females launched at least six unprovoked attacks on people on Boston Common and in the neighborhood, police said.

Do you mean, are they Amish?
I was wondering whether the readers of this “newspaper” ever call them out on why they go to such pains to avoid mentioning race in stories such as this. Are there letters to the editor on this subject?
Could any Boston Freepers help out here?
Lemme fix that.
One (black) person, a teenager with short cropped (nappy) hair and red (hooded) sweat shirt, was the most aggressive (racist) attacker...
A number of comments raised the question of race. There were a lot of blocked comments as well.
Here, our hero, the State Supported Mainstream Media places their collective heads in a more appropriate orifice that also blocks out all sound, sight and audio.
yup. boston is quickly turning into oakland of the east
Thanks for your response (post 24). It would be incomprehensible if there was no blow-back to The Globe on their reporting. But, as you seem to indicate, they don’t care, they’re going to do it their way until no objections are raised. OK. Fine. And one of these days they’ll have next-to-no readers.
The 9 alarm was caused by a welding crew working nearby, who didn’t have permits or report the fire once they started it. I believe the 8 alarm fire was caused by a car fire which spread to the nearby buildings.
The Globe says three of the attackers are from Mattapan section of Boston. Once a Jewish neighborhood, it was overrun by blacks in the 1960's.
This is from the Glob.. need I say more?

Good book on this topic; “Death of an American Jewish Community”. The Federal government created a program to help push unqualified people into owning homes. Local banks and real estate agents then used the program to start a block-busting operation in Mattapan. It worked beyond their wildest expectation; completely destroying a stable neighborhood.
As the sad joke goes... The real estate agents made money. The banks made money. Well, two out of there ain’t bad.
I’m an 81 year old who gave up The Globe last summer after reading it for my entire life.
I’m came close in the 70s when The Globe supported busing, which utterly destroyed The Boston Public Schools. I backed off.
Last summer was it for me——the utter adoration of Obama was the final straw.

Boy, I bet the Globe gets deluged with subscription offers. I guess people just can’t do without their daily lib brainwashing. I’ve noticed many on-line papers have the same pitch....like we just can’t do without subscribing. Where will we get our news from? (snicker)
I gave up on the Globe several years ago. I sort of figured out it wasn’t doing my disposition any good when I would angrily fling the paper down on the recycling pile almost every single morning for some example or other of their blatant bias and liberal world view that just automatically assumes that it is the correct view that any right thinking person would hold.

LOL Ouch!

Thankfully, they’re well on their way. The NYT bought them for $1 billion less than ten years ago. They sold the toilet paper for $50 million last year.
I never thought I’d live to see its demise. I will buy the final edition and frame it.
A few times I hung around Blue Hill Avenue up to 1966 eating at Delis and shooting pool. Then I went to war. I came back in 1968, and the Avenue was filled with burnt out stores once owned by Jews. Blacks were everywhere.
