"Keystone, which would carry
oil sands from Canada to Gulf Coast refineries"
Drop the sands, they're tough on the pipelines.

You’re right - absolutely excellent.
I have a buddy in the Laborer’s Union, and he defines hard core when it comes to attitudes. The ‘rats will NEVER get shut of these guys without capitulating. Or the Laborer’s won’t let up an iota.
Excellent again !

Nice to see unions on the right side of an issue for once.

Partisan Media Shill Laura Barron-Lopez:
Their crime: signing a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry last month urging him to reject Keystone, which would carry oil sands from Canada to Gulf Coast refineries.
(emphasis added)
During the 2004 POTUS campaign, Lurch never came out in favor of drilling in the ANWR, but Hoffa claimed that electing Kerry would result in opening the ANWR at long last.
Thanks SMGFan.

I’m loving this, please pass the popcorn.
When the unions start to wise up to what’s going onit’s game over for these slimes.

They just may. A good number of the rank-and-file membership in the United Mine Workers voted for Romney
and the UMW did not endorse Obama’s re-election. In fact it remained neutral in the 2012 presidential election.
To: FreeAtlanta
I’m in the unusual position of agreeing with the union
on this one.

The unions have been po'd before...about an Alaskan pipeline...It got them nowhere.
No common sense in the government anymore.
To: Maine Mariner
Since they voted for him in 2008 despite having no excuse for not knowing that he’d publicly called for the end of coal mining, they didn’t have any complaint coming then, and don’t have one now.

Agreed. Why the UMW endorsed Obama in 2008 is something I do not understand.
To: SMGFan
Really? Who are they going to vote for? A Republican?

It’s that way because the non-workers who run unions are getting their cut.
