FBI released March's background check numbers to reveal "it was the biggest March in the National Instant Criminal Background Check (NICS) system's history."
According to Guns.com, the raw data shows "2,488,842 total background checks were preformed in March 2014."
This is up 200,000 checks over March last year and 400,000 checks over the number that took place in February.

The Dem/libs have been engaging in a steady push to infringe on our right to keep and bear arms for decades. And this is how it has been working out for them in the last two decades...
- The percentage of Americans who own guns has increased.
- The percentage of Americans who believe we have a right to own guns has increased.
- The number of guns owned per gun owner has increased.
- The amount of ammunition possessed per gun owner has increased.
- Concealed carry laws have spread from state to state like wildfire.
- Castle Doctrine laws have been passed in numerous states.
- Stand Your Ground laws have been passed in many states.
- Gun rights lobbying groups have become a cottage industry unto themselves sprouting up like mushrooms after a rainstorm.
- In the worst economy since the Great Depression the firearms industry can't keep up with orders or expand fast enough.
- 65.4 Million Guns Bought Since Obama Took Office, 91% More Than Bush's First-Term Total
- 46,455 Background Checks For Gun Purchases Each Day Under Obama
And in the last two months... (Nov. 2012 and Dec. 2012)
And it continues...
And there is more...
MOLON LAVE! WE'LL BUY MILLIONS MORE. ;-)
(and now this!)

Damn. I wish Piers Morgan was on the air for a few more weeks to watch his head explode over this.

Looks like he’s created more gun owners than signers-up to ObamaCare...
How ironic...

Good point. How will the occupation media spin this in their narrative.

It is still the middle of a long struggle, but days like this, I think we’re winning.

How many of those are getting CCWs as well? Probably a good percentage.

If what I saw today at Cabela’s was any indication, April will be a damned good month for gun sales, too. I know I did my part. LOL.

I notice that the t-shirt wearer didn't score any .22
OTOH, I finally figured out where the .22 ammo is - right next to all the downtown parking, ie: too many people.
2.0 to 2.5 billion rounds of .22 LR produced annually (acc'd to Wikipedia). Given 80 million gun owners, if half of those have .22 rifles and went to buy one single 50-round box, that's the year's production gone.
Thanks Obama.

‘Fess up...where can one buy that shirt??? lol
To: struwwelpeter
I picked up one of those Ruger Takedown 10-22 rifles today. I was limited to two fifty round boxes of ammo. Fortunately I have 10,000 rounds of .22 LR in my stash.

So what’s the reason for the big jump in North Carolina? Are they re-running NICS to confirm CCW eligibility or something?
