The Tea Party zealots who haven’t learned from their mistakes in 2010 and 2012 are trying their best to screw up the GOP’s chances to win the Senate this fall.
Where does the Tea Party find these people to run in primaries? Most important, why do they offer them up as legitimate Republican candidates?
The Tea Party bosses have been listening to too much talk radio. They seem to think that what makes a good Republican candidate is someone who sounds like a talk radio host.
But talk radio is all about bombast and attracting callers, not about winning elections.
If Republicans are going to win general elections in 2014 and beyond, we’ve got to put up principled conservative candidates who sound like senators, congressmen, and governors — not kooks.

Ted Cruz is the most intelligent, articulate Conservative in decades and I don't want him to change a thing.

I didn't think that Michael Reagan was THAT ignorant, but he just proved me wrong.
Michael was adopted, his birth mother is Irene Flaugher.
I hope he doesn’t change either. Rather, the point is that just because a candidate says the right things, does not always make the candidate qualified or electable. Although Walker and Jindal may not be the most visible spokespeople for conservatism, they have track records.
A republican who can win an election. Its easy for liberals to win elections. Promise everything to everyone.

You are proving my point. Sarah was not ready for the situation she was going to be put in, I never said she was a wackadoodle. However many of the folks the tea party have put up have not been ready for prime time because like it or not they have been whackadoodles.
