I recall many times being told on FR that the marriage referendums would never possibly be in danger of getting 50% +1 for ‘gay marriage.’ The opinion polls always seem to be skewed towards ‘gay marriage’ and pundits on either side rarely delve into the trends of all the popular votes on the issue by date and location. So it looked like actual marriage was going strong everywhere, anything less was just liberal propaganda (the skewed polls actually might be) but that was not the case. Anyone can see it by the trends of the actual votes on the issue, not what one stranger tells another what they think of ‘gay marriage’ over the phone.

While support is gaining for "gay marriage", I still think most states would vote it down (by passing marriage = 1 man, 1 woman laws/amendments). However, it doesn't matter now because the courts won't let us do that. the amendment here in Texas passed by 70%, but a judge has now thrown it out.
Four decades ago, Phyllis Schlafly predicted same-sex marriage and was laughed at.
The next sewage to come at is already has a foundation in law. Most states now have protections based on "sexual orientation". One of these days, a judge will declare pedophilia to be a prot4ected sexual orientation.

The author states that the SC overturned DOMA. I always understood it to be that barry and company simply decided it was henceforth void.
What did I miss?
NC passed it’s amendment by 61% in 2012 and was hailed as a great victory by many. But it only equaled the CA of 2000 when CA passed prop. 22 by 61%. So the NC of 2012 was where CA of 2000 was on the issue amongst the voting public. 8 years later CA passed prop.8 by 52%, losing 9% in 8 years. Hawaii passed it’s amendment by 69% in 1998, beating the NC of 2012 by 8%, something that would have been considered crazy if someone would have predicted that in ‘98.
Texas actually passed it’s amendment by 76% in 2005. No doubt it would still pass today if our black robed masters didn’t cut out the middlemen, but no way does it pass by 76% in 2014.

The next frontier of perversion is “transgenderism” — the right (if you are a man) to have your genitals cut off, paid by “health insurance”, and then to be regarded as a woman. Liberals say they are pro-woman. Aren’t they insulted by the idea that a woman is nothing more than a mutilated man?
It’s not just the homo fascists...it’s the whole liberal ideology. As one conservative pundit said recently, for libs it’s all about sex...weird sex that is, the weirder the better. The ultimate goal of libs is no laws or limits on any kind of sex, man or beast, anytime, anywhere. Libs have no concept of self-control or limits on their desires. They cannot be reasoned with, they must be defeated.
This is a country where a scoundrel like Al Sharpton has his own tv show on a mainstream cable network. I never thought that could happen. Nothing is too low for libs to tolerate.
At the time, I was a teen and against homos being persecuted (physically harmed) or put in prison simply for being homos. I underestimated the strength of the lib/homosexual lobby. Soon we will be at the point where, like Bob Hope joked, homosexuality will be compulsory. Then the shooting will start.
There’s a movie, can’t think of the name of it, where a guy who is frozen comes unfrozen and he missed a lot of time. He has no problem with anything technological, picks it right up instantly, but he’s aghast at how the culture has changed. He is shocked, e.g., at girls using foul language, and of course there are other things too. Can’t remember. And this was decades ago.
As bad as the Romans became,I never heard of them promoting pedophilia. Thats a sobering thought—that America has surpassed or will surpass Rome in depravity. Or am I wrong about Rome not sinking that low?
