I really don’t think Americans understand what happened here. Our reps in their campaign need to broadcast it far and wide. What if, say, Occupy Wall St. was happening under Bush and he sicced his IRS on the applicants, denied their applications and sent OSHA, FBI, etc to investigate THEM like what’s happened to Englebrecht of True the Vote?
If the public doesn’t know it’s because the GOP leadership just hasn’t been interested in being engaged on the IRS issue. All we get from them are occasional hit and run hearings.

Using the IRS to target conservative groups was just one component to the 2012 Obama reelection campaign. Axelrod and Jarett knew they could not win on Obama’s pathetic record, so a Chicago/Alinsky style campaign was launched:
- phony war on women, kicked off by Stephanapolis
- binders full of women
- bully in high school haircut
- dog ride on car
- no taxes paid for 10 years
- lies about Obamacare
- Benghazi cover-up
- Bin Laden dead, GM alive
- Others
The petty items were media distractions to avoid rational debate about Obama policy failures, the big lies gave low-information voters a reason to reelect.
The Obama campaign team needs to be put under oath on this IRS tyranny.
