Oh yeah.
It is about terrorism over there.
That is why they keep them disarmed.

I think the most effective weapon in real close just might be one of those old battle aexs, especially the ones which also have a point. Do they call them a halyard?

I think halyard is correct.

But halyards are for distance.

I guess what I am thinking of is a double bladed axe with the top blade high enough to cut if you used the axe to poke rather than swing.
I have read that the Russian elite troops love their short shovels sharpened. That would be a vicious weapon.

Common sense tells me that even if the gun grabbers were to eliminate guns, they will never eliminate the ways to kill ones fellow human being.
Given that anyone with an ounce of common sense knows that one can kill with other things besides guns, why do these politicians push their gun grabbing agenda? Is it, perhaps, part of an overall Alinsky tactic to demonize conservatives?

If I recall correctly, halyards are like pole axes that are meant for use on horse, but I am no expert on medieval stuff, maybe I am thinking of a pole axe.

Hey maybe the idiot who wrote this should be stabbed and see how he enjoys it..maybe just maybe if someone in the school had a gun the student wouldn’t have been able to stab 24 people
To: 2ndDivisionVet
If he had attacked a kindergarten class rather than a high school there would have been as many dead as there were at Sandy Hook.
Regardless, if the teachers had been armed then he wouldn’t have stabbed more than a couple of students before he would have been dropped.

My 1st grade teacher’s ruler or principal’s heavy paddle might’ve stopped him.

Those who are relieved the student didn’t have a gun need to watch “Surviving Edged Weapons” (Calibre Press, maybe on You Tube). Saw it years ago during trainings and never forgot it.

What if the kid infected the knives with HIV before the attack? I wonder how the media would react.

The weapon is a halberd. Halyard is a nautical term.
