Several people were stabbed Wednesday morning at a high school near Pittsburgh, and a suspect was taken into custody, an emergency official said.
Dan Stevens, the spokesman for Westmoreland County emergency management, said five or six people were reported stabbed at about 7:20 a.m. at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville, about 15 miles east of Pittsburgh.
It wasn't immediately clear if the suspect and the victims are students, adults or a mix of both. It doesn't appear that any of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries, Stevens said, though several helicopters were seen flying people from the scene to area hospitals.

More info on the stabber. Two parent family; neighbors say nice quiet family. Seen the kid play street hockey. He has an older brother at FR HS.
On Twitter the name is staying consistent. Kids saying they didn’t know him.
Watching the local news...saying the stabber was bullied.

In a zero tolerance world, the person who neutralized and or disarmed the assailant would have been gotten expelled and charged with felony assault and possession of a weapon.
“Anyone wanna bet the perp is on some form of meds for depression or some other Rx the schools felt were necessary for the continued well being of the child?”
As far as I know no school prescribes medicine. They may boot your child out until he sees a psychologist but, for legal reasons, they won’t even recommend drugs.
