First, about one million public school students said “no way” to their cafeteria menus after Michelle Obamas anti-obesity campaign led to anger and frustration over food that apparently many American kids didn’t want to stomach.
But for those without other options, all that’s left is the power of social media and cell phone cameras when they simply can’t take another bite:
Even a mom got in on the act…

Just imagine what they would serve in the camps. Now, if THAT does not inspire you...
Yes, but you can set the resulting browser view to be in specific percentages or pixels.
That original image is 4000 x 3000 pixels. Even the better computer monitors have screens only 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Resulting image size can be controlled in the html.

I am with the Matthew 25:35 Ministry. We serve way better meals at a homeless shelter.
Thank you for your devotion and service to the country.
Their lunch menu is online.
YUMMM!
If this is anyone’s idea of a healthy lunch for anybody, they are totally ignorant.
Where is the protein in the form of beef, pork, chicken, fish? Are the microscopic bits in the pictures all there is-how are the kids supposed to develop muscles and brain cells? Where is the fresh fruit, as in a whole sliced apple, orange, pear, etc? Schools can’t buy stuff at produce markets?
What is with all the white, starchy, carb-loaded bread, rolls and even a flour tortilla? That crap is just empty carbs designed to fill up the kids because it is cheap-where is some rice, or some potatoes that are not instant and loaded with extra fat-I thought thunder thighs said the urchins were too fat? And how about some appetizing, fresh vegetables that are not overcooked, instead of heated, canned slop like that goulash looking stuff with the bits of corn in it? I’d starve if someone put that in front of me...
With all the taxes public schools steal from us, they can certainly afford to buy and serve something better than the cheap, meager stuff shown here-never mind it is as unhealthy as anything I’ve ever seen in any cafeteria when my kid was in school-and now I remember why I always packed her lunches, even though she was in private school-if this is what passes for lunch in public school, my kid would certainly be in private school, eating lunches brought from home...
This post steers into a bigger issue. The millennials voted for BHO twice because they heard from their teachers and media the "wonders" of collectivism. These kids, although not old enough to vote, yet, are actually seeing it
“Every school lunch room should have pictures of Mooch stuffing her face and Berry downing a hot dong.”
A little Freudian slip there?
That looks like vomit!
My kids took sack lunches...FAR better than what was served in the school cafeteria...and cheaper. ;-)

Just click arrow for menu of day.
Especially cheaper for the rest of us.
Yep. Thanks. Whiny brats from what I can see.
I remember the food in the Texas public schools in the 50’s and early 60’s was very good. I can’t recall anything so bad that I particularly disliked - well maybe just a few items. But I can still remember Football Fridays in high school and the menu from those days.
They served chicken fried steak (one big piece) with mashed potatoes (heaping) and optional cream gravy. The other side dish was corn or green beans. Desert was either a slab of ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, or neapolitan) or cobbler (peach or cherry). Milk (was included at no cost (extra at 5 cents/glass if you wanted more). The cost of the meal which was an outrageous 35 cents per student.
It was pure chaos at lunch times as the whole school bought lunch on these Friday’s and it took forever to go through the line and find a seat in the cafeteria. Hardly had time to eat and say hello before returning to class.
Students (mostly husky guys like me and footballers) where demanding extra helpings and were willing to pay, but school officials said “no, one piece of steak per student and that’s it”. Almost caused a riot until cooler heads prevailed as they realized they didn’t have enough time to eat the extra piece. I remember seeing big guys almost cry and breakup with their girlfriends when the girls wouldn’t share some of their steak with them.
Football Fridays - memories of pep rallies, pretty girls and cheerleaders with huge football mums, and chicken fried steak.
They should complain to their parents, most likely they voted for the turds.
Do you mean the prison food, or the obama lunch?
All the public schools I went to did.
And no one complained. About them serving fish on Friday.
