Which is why I have stated all along that the only way for us to avoid a messy civil war with these folks is to “Let them have their society”.

The problem with that approach is the same thing with 'Palestine' (sic) and Israel. It won't work because the "Gays" (i.e. 'palestinians') don't just want "their society", they want YOURS!

Bob Hope summarized this extremely well in a joke from the 1970's that got Mark Steyn fired from National Review ....

"I've just flown in from California, where they've made homosexuality legal. I thought I'd get out before they make it compulsory."

The old bull and the young bull were up on the hill side grazing when the trailer arrived and a big new snorting and pawing bull was let out. The new bull pawed the ground and strutted around the cows.

The young bull took off at a run down the hill, through the fence and attacked the new comer. The much larger and stronger newcomer made short work of the assaulter.
