Onyx's husband (DrO) is now in the hospital with heart problems and other serious health issues. Prayer support would be greatly appreciated.

Am remaining hopeful good days will yet come, though the way seems bumpy currently. We know all the answers are in Christ Jesus and He is ever near both Onyx and her beloved at this time of uncertainty.
May the Lord continue His good work for them both and bless them as they walk this path.

I underwent a liver and kidney transplant last April, it will be one year in a few weeks. Nobody thought I would even live long enough to receive a transplant in the months leading up to it, so I guarantee there are indeed miracles! Oh, and I never drank more than one or two drinks a year as an adult, there are other reasons for cirrhosis. Renewed prayers from us for Onyx and Dr. O!
My heart goes out to both of them, and my praying continues.

Dr. O does not drink either. Hopefully they will find out soon the underlying causes and can find a way to manage his condition so that he and onyx can have many more years together.

I think that working with some polymers and glues can also damage the liver.
