Not the smartest thing to do. Either you get infected, or you prevent infected people from getting treatment, or both.

Bring Out Your Dead
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...

Can you imagine an outbreak in South Side Chicago? Rahm would need to head down to the bunker

adding that the attackers in Macenta had accused MSF of bringing the disease to the southeastern town. Denying the accusation does not make the possible truth of the accusation disappear.
Only Obama has been sanctified to do that. I thus hope we will hear much more about this incident.

I suspect he would by-pass the bunker and be on his way out of the country.

Just a hour or so outside of Chicago you have isolated farm towns .. I’d hole up there and wait as long as it takes.

If there was an outbreak in the South Side, Jackson and Sharpton and the Panthers would be ranting and raving about how whites brought this disease to the black community and Rahm wouldn’t be hiding, he would be stoking the accusations.

I wonder how you would go about isolating an entire "continent?"
You start by cratering every runway that can accommodate an airliner.

One of the big causes is “bats”. it’s one reason ebola probably could never take hold here.
Those countries have made eating bats illegal. But still allow eating mice and rats.
