abolish the epa and jail those who worked for it, the longer they have worked there, the longer they’re in jail.

If the EPA abolished DumboCrats, emissions would drop by more than half.

The EPA estimates that as much as 13 percent of all soot pollution in the U.S. is a result of inefficient wood-fired stoves and boilers.

I would like to see the supporting documentation, testimony, and calculations (including assumptions, and model settings).

I suspect in the strongest terms that the estimates are intentionally inflated, and would not withstand thorough scientific scrutiny.

My recommendation to Congress critters would be to have independent experts examine the "evidence".

(No contrary evidence, just a hunch.)

This isn’t about pollution or even the EPA. This is about making it more difficult for people to live in remote areas.

Their vision is everyone living in small apartments in cities, except the leaders and entertainers of course. The only people living in remote areas are govt workers and ‘corporate’ workers living in a commune while they run the farm robots.

Well, we all know that libs don’t want to control forest fires, so millions of acres burn. That’s a good thing they say. Natural and all.

But for humans to heat with? Gotta be a bad thing.

Running amok. For far too many years now.

I heat my house mostly with a wood stove and a wood pellet fireplace insert. I paid a bit more for both of them to get recommended models that are efficient. You burn and pay for a bit less firewood for the same amount of heat. So, efficiency pays off over time.

But the last thing I want is the dumb, stupid, corrupt, crony capitalist EPA telling me what kind of stove to buy.

I need to know which wood stoves are going to be banned so I can get one beforehand.

I don't like the pagans in the EPA but woodstoves with either secondary combustion chambers, or catalytic converters are far more efficient than traditional wood stoves.

This is a tax issue. There is no way to tax you on dead trees.

UN Agenda 21's "sustainability" is all about making life so expensive for the peasants that they give up and die.

While you’re at it abolish this too: http://sparetheair.org

These people have 40 some odd “smoke agents” prowling the neighborhoods in the Bay Area from November 1st to February 28th looking for “violators” burning wood in wood stoves when they decide that the air is too polluted. The rest of the year they just campaign to eliminate wood burning. All our wood stoves are “grandfathered” and you can’t legally install a wood burning stove or an open fireplace in new construction. My bet is that in succeeding years, they will get the authority to ban all wood burning, which will come right after we are ordered to “register” our wood burning appliances. Why it’s just like the assault on the 2A. What’s next a tax on the length of your (oh never mind, you get the idea).

Anyone out there heard of anyone else out there compiling a list of EPA employees and their home addresses for any reason?

In the meantime, it’s OK to let forest fires burn Yellowstone park with no effort to put out the fires back in the 90’s because it was a natural thing.

Now days it’s ok to let dead fall in national forests just lay there as more fuel for a nasty fire.

Someone wants to have a small wood fire to keep warm, and they are destroying the world.

The lunacy will never stop until this country has completely fallen.

On the other side of the coin we did buy one of the those EPA wood burners in 08 that reburns the smoke. It appears we get more heat from the wood, but what is a fact is with each chimney inspection it shows no need to clean the chimney. And we do 12 cords a year.

Well, so much for “Renewable Energy Sources”.

the Eco-Nazis don’t like:

Wood - Soot & CO2
Hydro - Interferes with the mating habits of the Elk Toe Mussels ( and really cool kayak runs)
Wind - Migratory bird Cuisinart
Solar - Fries migratory birds, Interferes with the mating habits of the Gopher Tortoise
Tidal - Does not work in Kansas
Harmonic Convergence - Cannot everyone to chant “Ummmmmm” simultaneously & on-key.

Just cut off all electricity to their homes, offices, iPads, iPhones, iNavels and Priuses (no offense to normal Prius owners)
