Let’s start with cop shops, county jails, and prisons.
He means a fum free zone like HIS HOUSE, he actiually stated on air there were no guns in his house...talk about target rich for the bad guys. This shows his level of naïveté.
“Gun-free zone” merely means “targets of opportunity” for anybody who does not have the moral fortitude to obey the law, even when nobody is looking. Lying and deceit are among the very qualities that make highly effective pirates and thieves, and the traits have served every outlaw, or madman, the world has ever known.
We cannot forever depend upon others to fight our battles for us. When the war comes to one’s own doorstep, it shall be far too late for an application to the central government regarding a permit to keep and bear arms.
Not even to consider the logistics in actually obtaining firearms or ammunition should that situation prevail.
It should be noted that the household of every Swiss citizen has at least one firearm, which is in good order, with adequate ammunition, and Swiss male citizens are all part of the Swiss Army reserve. Non-citizen residents of Switzerland are accorded no such authority.
