The tragic Fort Hood shooting this week reignited the debate over shootings in gun-free zones and whether gun-free zones are generally more prone to this kind of horrible violence. On Cashin’ In Saturday morning, Eric Bolling and Juan Williams tussled over mental health and the gun culture, with Williams saying, “I think we need America to be a gun-free zone.”
Jonathan Hoenig and Wayne Rogers agreed the problem is more about “seriously deranged people” as opposed to guns. Williams said, “I’m amused that you guys are so quick to run away from the easy availability of guns as having some responsibility for all of these tragedies.”
Michelle Fields said law-abiding gun owners shouldn’t be punished for what “a few crazy people did,” and Williams cried, “Who is punishing any gun owners?” Bolling brought up Williams’ comment about making America a gun-free zone, to which Williams said it’s never going to happen as long as the NRA keeps sidelining that conversation.
Fields and Williams battled over Fields’ assertion that Democrats “take advantage of these tragedies.” Williams challenged her to name one action Obama’s taken on guns, and Fields insisted “he would if he could!”

What prevents that is the fact that whites are armed to the gunwales, and white people are the smartest and best fighters in the world. That pisses off liberals. I don’t know why Williams is given anchor spots on Fox news. Many have said he seems to be a ‘’decent liberal’’. No such thing exists. There isn’t any conservative that I know of who is ever given an anchor spot on MSNBC. Williams is a low down stinking Leftist piece of garbage whose true colors always come out at some point.

Actually it is THE SECOND AMENDMENT, not the NRA, that has permanently sidelined any conversation on guns (Except of course conversations such as: “What should I get to protect my family at home-a shotgun or a Glock?”;)
In UK, the problem is not so much gun induced mass killings, but lack of effective weapons carried by the gendarmes/bobby’s/cops whatever they call them there.

It’s amazing that Williams’ son is such a sensible and decent kid!
Schools and army bases are gun free zones, and we see what can happen when a madman cuts loose.
Yet gun ranges and NRA conventions never seem to have this problem.
