No when I came here in 1971 I could only bring a spouse who also had to apply, and any underage children...

no grannies, siblings, cousins, adult children...

Chain immigration is still the law. You brought your spouse but after you obtained permanent residency you were and are eligible to bring siblings, parents and grandparents. And then when they arrive and are granted permanent residency, they too can bring siblings, parents and grandparents, This is know as chain immigration and it is insane because it does not help the USA bring the immigrants it needs.

It is frustrating to see you argue about immigration reform when you yourself do not know the law that exists.
