A National Public Radio poll released Thursday indicates that the GOPs anti-Obamacare strategy may be right on the money after all.
The NPR survey, conducted from March 19 23 of 840 likely voters with a sample 6 points more Democratic than Republican by the GOP firm Resurgent Republic and the Democratic firm Greenberg, Quinlan, Rosner, revealed that a Republican midterm wave is brewing.
The overall political environment in 2014 resembles 2010 far more closely than 2012, the surveys release reads. [A]s of today the chances are better than even that they will take control of the Senate and add to their majority in the House in 2014.
They cited a number of factors which are creating major headwinds for Democrats, including the presidents ailing approval rating, the sluggish economic recovery, and pessimism about the future of the country. And, as always, a wave election is made up of a combination of factors. However, there most certainly is one key factor motivating Republicans to vote in disproportionate numbers compared to their Democratic counterparts.
For the first time in NPR polling, a majority of voters disapproves of the health care law, the Resurgent Republics release continued.
While the NPR poll finds that only 51 percent to 47 percent disapprove of the law, the vast majority of recent public polls show the ACA to be underwater by more than 10 points, sometimes by more than 15 points.
Further, the release notes, self-described independents oppose the law by 59 to 38 percent with only 1 in 5 likely independent voters expressing support for the law. More voters are strongly opposed to the law (40 points) than strongly back it (28 points), and Republicans are far more likely to be strongly opposed to the ACA than Democrats are to be strongly supportive of it.

The GOP can STILL pull defeat from the jaws of victory
by endorsing .... RomneyCARE. Want to bet it will?
The goal of the GOP moderates is to avoid real change at any cost.
Is this “wave” something new or does it mean the old term landslide. I am not up on this new spin stuff.
But see, you can’t poll the dead or those who will cast their vote 5 times for the Dems while registered as ‘Mickey Mouse’....
Not sure there are enought competitive seats in the House to take for a landslide as the GOP already has most of those. The senate could be on the verge of landslide proportions though.
Neglecting, of course, voter fraud...
Woes? What woes?
Democrats have been spiking the ball, running victory laps, etc since putting out that 7 million figure.
Oh, wait ... This was done before the 7 million number was released.
So expect the next poll to show a massive increase in support, representing a turning point that reverses bad Dem prospects for the Fall
WTH? The first time - where have they been? The numbers must be so bad that NPR didnt have enough lipstick to paste on this pig any more.
The GOPe endorsed candidates will still try to run as Democrats.
And... IRS TARGETING.
That too.
try a Tsunami!
If you have lost NPR you have lost big.
“While the NPR poll finds that only 51 percent to 47 percent disapprove of the law, the vast majority of recent public polls show the ACA to be underwater by more than 10 points, sometimes by more than 15 points.”
You can bet that NPR very carefully crafted the wording of their poll questions to ‘pull’ the type of answers that they wanted — ie. favorable toward the ACA (Obamacare). You see this all the time from organs of the Liberal Media. And for all that, they are a -4 with other polls showing -10 to -15 (which sounds more realistic).
Maybe it’s worse Maybe that is the best way they could present it.
Don’t worry Democrats, Bonehead and Ryno will save you with amnesty in time to win EVERYTHING back in 2016.
This might be a good time to trash Obamacare and the democrats who tried to shove it down our throats. Romneycare was 20 years ago.
How about a real poll for a change. One that asks about, dolos dol’-os
primary verb, dello (probably meaning to decoy; compare a trick (bait), i.e. (figuratively) wile:—craft, deceit, guile, subtilty.
which is what all of D.C partyING is all about now, and the cronys who pass their own dello to force their own equities higher.
