Another controversy has erupted over a Sellwood-Moreland business, this one over the owner’s views on gays and same-sex marriage.
Facebook and other social media sites have exploded over a soon-to-open fresh meat and vegetable store called Moreland Farmers Pantry. Neighbors and nearby business owners, once excited by the prospect of the new shop, are now backing away.
“They’re choosing to open a business in a very open-minded neighborhood,” said Tom Brown, owner of Brown Properties and president of the Sellwood Moreland Business Alliance. “I think their personal views are going to hurt.”

Amazing how a Pro-Christian view is now “Anti-Gay” and that somehow means you cannot own or operate a business in this “Free” country.

Typical “We have the right to our opinions and beliefs. You, on the other hand, do NOT have the right to your opinions and beliefs if they don’t fall in line with ours.” Amazingly they don’t/won’t see the hypocrisy in this at all cause we’re (at least me) all haters, bigots, homophobes, racis’, etc. Head shake.

I can’t believe how simple this is....if the LGBT crowd doesn’t like the owner’s beliefs....then JUST DON’T GO TO THAT STORE...GO TO ANOTHER STORE. Damn...how hard is that ??????
Obviously, residents of this “open-minded” neighborhood need to get together at night, put on hoods, and burn down the offending enterprise.

the religious have fallen hook line and sinker into the trap and surrendered the debate. The battlefield is NOT religion it is logic and reason. By surrendering all the logic and reason as to the reason homosexuality is abnormal and not accepted by a responsible normal civilization, the left EASILY marginalized all objections as “mere faith” and not part of the public debate.
If the products are good, and the prices are competitive, they'll do just fine. If we've learned anything, these kerfuffles pass within a couple of weeks.
