An act of unconditional love...
I wonder, how is this story really any different than this: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3140209/posts ?
Yet, the father is vilified for having the audacity to have a child after the age of 50...
Moral relativism?
I know in my family, my great-great uncle had children after he was 50. He was born in Russia,a Russian Jew. He was married once but got divorced over being charged with bigamy even though he was judged to be innocent in a court of law. Well, years later, the matchmaker of the Jewish community(this was in the 1930’s) matched him with a young bride of about 16 to 18 when he was 45 to 50 and they lived on and had a family. He was also a concert level violinist.
That REALLY old Abram dude would certainly get a thrashing from today's tolerant folks!
