It ususally erupts every 60,000 years. It has now been 64,000 years.
The last three Yellowstone eruptions have been roughly 600,000 years apart - not 60,000.
If it erupts in the next year, it won’t be early; if it erupts 10,000 years from now, it won’t be late.
Every 600,000 years...and it has been 640,000 years. Off by a factor of 10 years. We're still 40,000 years late. I'm 150 miles from Yellowstone (SW).
