I’m pretty sure you all know that I keep in contact with RedMDer (Steve) and I’ve heard from him earlier this evening. He told me I could update you all, and so I am and I want to ask for more prayers for his beautiful Lynn.

He took her to the ER on last week on Thursday due to a fever. She is still hospitalized in Oncology being treated for infections, low blood cell counts and low mineral and vitamin counts.

Swallowing is a big problem due to radiation effects on her esophagus causing pain, inflamation, weight loss and dehydration.

She and Steve both hope to go home soon but he doesn’t know precisely when. Perhaps tomorrow, we so pray!

The treatment for this cancer drains her.

On a good note, Lynn appears to no longer need the oxygen mask or nose thingee! She just needs be free from all infections and be able to eat.

God bless and keep them both and dear God, please sustain sweet Lynn’s strength. She’s a fighter and Steve is treasured here.

May the Angels encamp around Lynn and flutter their wings in prayer for Lynn’s healing and also for her to be confortable. May the Lord give Lynn strength and peace in going through all this. May the Lord grant Steve graces that he will need to continue to be strong, courageous and wise.

Dear onyx. It is nice to see you becoming active on the boards after losing your husband such a short time ago. I had sent Pen a private mail asking how you where holding up, but did not get a response from her.

Perhaps wise on her part. After all. She doesn't personally know me and in retrospect, perhaps I asked to much of her. Pen. You did no wrong in any way. You take care.

Steve. We all hope Onyx's latest prayer and all ours for your Lynn shall find favor in our Lord and HE find it pleasing to bring her through all these medical problems she has been encountering. And give you the strength to take care of her as best as you can during this period of tribulation.
