"I'm pretty looped out on a million drugs."
To his great relief he woke up and still has his bladder. Surgery was more serious than anticipated. He found out after surgery that they put his lungs to sleep and were pumping oxygen thru him. And they are giving him Benadryl for the itching as he seems to have allergies, or something, to the heavy duty meds he is on. He's probably in the hospital until Monday. His breathing is good (they gave him something on Monday to practice on) and he just sat up for the first time, and he's trying to impress his caretakers so he can have solid food.

He said he would like to go home tomorrow, but I could hear talking in the background. He said it was his tech saying, "Not likely".
He will have to go back in 10 days so they can check for leakage, and chemo is probably in the offing.
He thanks everyone for their prayers, and please keep them going.
