Okay, and if you’re going to buy into that logic, the United States supported Europe for the better part of seventy years. I guess the U. S. S.R. had every right to march in and take over then.

If the Ukraine would have chosen to stay with the Federation, do you think the West would have had a right to go to war over it, perhaps annex part of Russia to get even?
You obviously think the E. U. was evil for urging the Ukraine to go with it economically? Why is that evil, but if Russia tries to get the Ukraine to stay with the federation, that isn’t evil?
