I don’t live in GA. This is the first I’ve heard of Handel. What’s the problem with her?
She’s not part of the GOB network. Our state GOP is about as sick as they come. That’s why we get stuck with the Johnny Isaksons, the Saxby Chamblisses, and the Nathan Deals of the world. They are all Party insiders who can count on Party support, while the true conservatives like Herman Cain and Eric Johnson get shut out.
Long time government bureaucrat. Hard to assess her exact stance on many things. Her campaign web site says the right things, but who knows? Just from what I've heard, she's pretty much in the center of the Republican pack on issues
For example her web site says
Stop the gun-grabbing Obama/Feinstein legislation and oppose any attempt to create a national gun registry. End massive government ammunition stockpiling designed as backdoor “ammunition control” for private gun owners., but she says nothing about repealing existing unconstitutional restrictions or the mental health stuff that is the the anti-gunners' flavor of the month.
