Well hell, all they need to do is *git* the Kepler space telescope cranked around and a pointing at the Indian ocean and they'd find the sucker............Just saying :)

I would bet that the US, RUSSIA and China et al have infrared detection satellites that probably did locate it, they just didn’t say anything.................
