And I was lucky; the district where I taught was rural and in the south, so the gang influence was negligible. Still, the environment was horrible; every child qualified for the supplemental nutrition program, so classes stopped every morning at 8:45 for breakfast, and we were instructed to get everyone to the cafeteria for lunch and the after school snack as well, because much of our federal funding was tied to participation in the nutrition programs.”””
Perhaps someone could connect the dots & see that the obesity of our children is due in great part to producers efforts being confiscated (taxes) to feed these kids multiple times a day with free meals.
Connect some more dots——if it’s free—people always take more, even kids. Sure frees up more SNAP money for the adults to have lobster for themselves & steak -—for their dogs.
When this house of cards does collapse, it will be a new day for the producers in America.
Yes! If Holder was anything better than a White-hating crack-pot, he would realize that disciplining students of any race, is a constructive way to channel their behavior in a way calculated to enhance their future prospects.
The man is so full of hate, that he cannot see this, when he senses an opportunity to blame someone else for any child's problem.
No one ever sat next to their equal in any classroom, unless it was their identical twin or triplet. Why do these Leftists always start with a contrary premise? It is because they are at war with reality. But the real casualties of their fanaticism are first those they pretend to be befriending.

I went to a completely ALL WHITE school from K-2nd grade. This is a private school (Desoto)in Helena, Arkansas. This is a K-12 school and my yearbook from 1983 when I was in Kindergarten shows no black students, faculty or staff. Even the janitorial crew was an older white couple. Until I was probably 12 years old... I thought “Private School” meant no blacks allowed.
I believe it can be done..first, teachers and administrators firmly and fairly enforce existing rules on conduct and discipline (this assumes termination of the Obama rules that prevent the “targeting” of minorities for school misconduct)
Identify problem students and if they continue to cause disciplinary issues, get them out. First, into a highly regimented special school (or a school-within-a-school”). Keep them in that environment as long as required.
Test kids with constant behavior issues for problems that may impact their learning—and don’t excuse it all with a generic ADHD diagnosis. If they have a legitimate problem, provide resources. If not, keep them in the special school environment. Don’t let them disrupt class for kids who want to learn.
Utilize permanent suspension and expulsion rules to get rid of kids who can’t/won’t be helped. Encourage state legislatures to pass laws that limit the ability of parents and ambulance chasers to sue over these policies.
Implement laws reducing social services benefits for families with kids who are permanently expelled from school
Would it be difficult to implement? Yes, given the fact that most school officials are spaghetti-spined libs who quiver in fear of any lawyer and/or the ACLU. Getting some of the state legislatures behind these principles would be a tough sell as well.
But something has to be done. Discipline has spiraled out of control at many schools and without tough measures, we may never get it back. Enriching race baiters like Glenn Singleton only condones terrible behavior.
A wise man once wrote this explanation of what is going on.

TAKE VIDEOS of these “students.” Don’t just tell the world. SHOW THEM.
Funny, I never heard that story. Never heard a word about it.
How 'bout that? </Snake Doctor>
In the South, it often did. Private schools sprang up overnight as Lyndon Johnson, working through his bullying satrap Leon Panetta, threatened school officials throughout the South with imprisonment right now if they didn't desegregate their schools right now.
The private schools were legal, often hired teachers who'd left the new Yankee-run school regime (Southern States and counties totally lost control of their school systems during this period, everything was federalized under a cafeteria-style intervention by USG), and were referred to by the sneering liberal mot du jour, "segregation academies".
Nobody has ever tested to see whether those "segregation academies" outperformed their captive public counterparts, which generally declined from the late 60's onward.
These poor women. They have no idea what is happening to them. People who've read Orwell's Animal Farm and 1984 and Alexander Solzhenitsyn's The Gulag Archipelago, do.
So do elderly emigrants from the Ukraine.
They're going to be swept out of education because they're a) white and b) not Communist/Black Liberationist enough.
Obama wants their jobs, and he's going to get them. They have no chance unless they crawl for The New Man and become his lickspittles.
I dont think with Obama and his ilk that its so much about lifting up the people on the receiving end of redistribution as it is whacking the crap out of those on the confiscation end.
It's very simple. Tax the productive private sector, take that money and buy votes in a thousand different ways. It can be more Federal workers and connected liberal contractors. More Federal handouts to the gimme crowd
As in>>>>
Screw your enemies and reward your friends and voters
Yep and Desoto was started in 1969 I believe.
Yes, we can spot failures, but not the American people as a whole. They are too dense to discern much of anything.
Joe Clark, whom I once met while he was on the lecture circuit, was promptly fired by the NJ liberal establishment. His success was liberals’ failure.
No, compulsory education can’t work, but we just declare it a success and “move on”.
End mandatory attendance NOW.
Put the incorrigibles in home detention, juvy hall, reform school, wherever. They DO NOT belong in a regular classroom where one goes to LEARN.
Should be Thee ARE a lot of cultural differences ....
...in thy correction thou art not using the proper pronoun...
(Waves hands wildly) I know, I know! Pick me!
It cannot be done.
Do you have any idea of how many of them there are?
I suspect a fair amount of the parents would learn the meaning of disciplining their brats if they knew THEY would be stuck with them at home.
