It can be bought on the Internet in flavors like chocolate and bubble gum—and just a teaspoon could kill a child: The New York Times takes a look at liquid nicotine, the e-liquid used in e-cigarettes, which it describes as a "powerful neurotoxin ... far more dangerous than tobacco." And with good reason: Reports of accidental liquid nicotine poisonings rose 300% from 2012 to 1,351 cases last year, with 2014's figure expected to be double that.
The victims, many children under the age of four, can experience vomiting and seizures after being exposed to even a modest amount orally or through the skin.
The Minneapolis Star Tribune notes that the bottles often convey their flavors with potentially enticing photos of fruits or chocolate, which could attract youngsters; teens, on the flip side, may be combining it with energy drinks to get high, per Fox News Insider.
"It's not a matter of if a child will be seriously poisoned or killed. It's a matter of when," says a director with California's Poison Control System.

This 2nd hand smoke meme is wrong. The smoke coming off the end of your lit cigarette is not 2nd hand, it is the same as the smoke that you choose to draw into your lungs. Only I choose not to do draw it into mine.
When I think of my asthmatic childhood and the unthinking adults that surrounded me, I get mad.

The topic here is NOT smoking and second hand smoke - the subject is e-cigarettes and has absolutely NOTHING to do with tobacco smoke of any kind.

I just know the extreme dangers with these e-cigarettes from trying to help out some relatives, and the research I did in trying to do that.. When I found out the facts - I couldn’t run away fast enough!

NOW, I buy 100mg/cc nicotine base and mix my own ecig juice. The stuff is POISON, even if you just spill it on a large enough area of your skin (and if you don't clean it off). But it tastes like hell and it STINKS - so one does the natural thing, and spits it out and/or washes it off.
Keep away from children and other halfwits, it is common sense - BUT the thing here is NOT safety of children, rather it is the TAX MONEY plain and simple.
Vaping is THE most EFFECTIVE stop smoking aid EVER, and every person who stops smoking represents thousands of dollars NOT going into the pockets of greedy union represented bureaucrats, and that is the ONLY thing that REALLY MATTERS.
I STOPPED SMOKING cigarettes more than two years ago when I started vaping 36mg/cc juice and in that time I have tapered down to 2mg/cc juice and in that time I have not smoked a single cigarette. I am PROUD that in that time I have not purchased over $6000 worth of cigarettes and I am DOUBLY PROUD that in that time I have DEPRIVED those GREEDY loafers of probably more than $4000 in tax money.

I will once again explain it to you: The subject here is NOT smoking, it is about e-cigarettes, which has nothing to do with tobacco or smoking. That you and your fellow travelers wish to make it about smoking doesn't change the FACT (something you do not deal well with) it is NOT about smoking.

I don't see why. You accept the definition changes of words for those things with which you agree, disagreeing with definition changes of things with which you disagree makes you a hypocrite..............
We might also consider it reasonable to ban any poison that a child could get it;s hands on. Household cleaners....Alcohol...etc,,etc,
Naw,,,lets allow responsible adults to keep all of those items out of the hands and mouths of children
