If we were to legalize drugs, we would see a decrease in the narcotic crime rate.

Horrendous argument. Were we to legalize murder, we would see a decrease in the murder rate. Some things are better off being illegal.

Murder necessitates the violation of another’s natural use. Use of drugs does not. There’s a horrendous argument here alright.
