The plane crashing into the ocean in this area does not really address anything about a conspiracy - namely two or more involving in a plane hijacking. That theory is definitely going to be worked on.

General McInerney said “he had a source that confirmed” the plane was in Pakistan. Huh? Who’s the source?

Clearly he is NOT capable of good discernment. If he has a source that can confirm it, then something as big as a 777 should be easy to find. If not, he needs to shut his yap.

Maybe McInerney's been listening to two liars. Would he risk his reputation on that possibility? I've not yet heard anything that proves his sources wrong, but only people who believe a different theory.

Let time decide, along with those who can think logically.

Are you kidding. He has a source who CONFIRMS the plane is in Pakistan. That means someone who has concrete knowledge. If I was General McInerney, I would be POUNDING that source for more details, and alerting the FBI and DOD, not saying, “uh, okay. Thanks. Think I’ll pass that on to Fox News.

Right now, he sounds like a crackpot.

I'm of the mind that our govt (and the other govts) know where that plane is and what happened. I do not believe anything being reported, because as many already know the media and govts are known liars and do not do investigative reporting anymore. They now report sensational stories, with their opinions and editorials.

This whole story has been suspicious from the get go. Why would the plane divert it's path (to Beijing) and then 12 minutes later, sign off like all is ok? If there was something catastrophic that happened,to cause the plane to divert it's path, why the "all right, good night" sign off? Why no calls for mayday? Why no squawking or whatever else one would do, to notify the plane is in danger?

Then, turning off the transponders had to be done manually, IN the cockpit, by someone who knew what they were doing. Boeing's engines have the technology to continue pinging, which they did, for another 7-8 hours after the transponders went off. So we know the plane was still in the air. Again, if something catastrophic happened, how could the plane continue to fly for another 7 hours?

Then the reports of the plane going up to 45K feet and then flew as low as 12000 feet before it dropped off the radar. And the planes flight path, based on the way points, show it was heading in the direction of Pakistan, which is about the same distance as Beijing, so the plane would have had enough fuel to go there.

The generals theory could be true. Who is to say that the Taliban (and Pakistani govt) weren't in on hiding that plane? I mean, didn't they cover up (or play dumb) that Bin Laden was hiding all those years, right outside their borders?

Maybe the plane did crash. But considering the "news" we are being sold, and how so many things just don't add up...anything, IMO, is possible.

Oh, and to those who question if it was a terrorist act, why has no one claimed it?

Well, if they did take the plane, and hide it somewhere, to possibly use for nefarious purposes in the future, why would they claim their “terrorist act” halfway through the plan?

Of course they aren’t going to say anything, until they’ve accomplished their terror.

“Boeing’s engines have the technology to continue pinging, which they did, for another 7-8 hours after the transponders went off. “

The engines were Rolls Royce. They do not ping. Engine data is loaded into the aircraft data system which then conveys engine and aircraft data to the receiver. Weather data and pilot communications are also handled by the system.

Erlier it was noted tat the Chinese photo resembled the emergency disembarkation chute.

That can be taken to mean that the plane made a water landing and the emergency disembarkation equipment deployed. Extrapolating that thought, there should be seat cushions or other flotation devices still around after the folks holding them gave up and drowned.

Under your scenario, thats not terrorism; thats a hijacking. And again, the idea of hijacking the plane, and flying it for 5-7 hours with no one seeing it on radar is possible. I suppose. Theoretically.

Also, if the transponders on the engines put out a signal whenever the engines are running, as soon as the plane fires back up again, Rolls Royce will know. Unless they have a mechanic who knows Rolls Royce engines well enough to disable it.

If, if, if, if. Just too many ifs.

19 Muslims took enough avionics to learn how to fly planes in to buildings...

Someone knows exactly what happened and that someone’s not telling but this story has about outlived it’s usefulness. Don’t drag it out too long or the sheeple will ask questions.

Hopefully the flight data recorder is found, that would shed a lot of light on this incident.

Ok, maybe not "pinging", but data was being sent by the engines.

...one of the few facts that does not appear to be in dispute is that the Rolls-Royce engines on the Boeing 777 had an engine monitoring system.

There are numerous reports, that this "data", was still being communicated hours after losing contact.

You're crediting the General with "good discernment," although in this episode, he has demonstrated none whatsoever. The plane is not in Pakistan and the General cannot prove that it is. What remains of the plane and its passengers is under 12,000' of water in the southern Indian Ocean, and there is considerably more evidence for that assertion than any General McInerney has offered.

Further, General McInerney has been singularly unwilling to share the sources of his information that led him to issue such a rash conjecture.

For future reference, you'll want to stand advised that having "good discernment" does not include repeating some wild-eyed, baseless speculation from questionable sources one is unwilling to name over the public airwaves.

From your link info:

******
Now Malaysia Airlines has told Sky News that the Roll-Royce engines stopped transmitting
updates when the plane lost contact, according to its correspondent Mark Stone.
He did not elaborate.

*********

Signal reports are ‘inaccurate’

Hussein opened the press conference by denying reports that the missing plane sent out
engine data after it disappeared from contact with air traffic control. He said:

I would like to refer to news reports suggesting that the aircraft may have been flying
for some time after the last contact. Those reports are inaccurate. The last transmission
from the aircraft was at 01.07, which indicated everything was normal. Rolls-Royce and
Boeing teams are here in Kuala Lumpur and have worked with MAS and the investigation teams
since Sunday. This issue has never been raised … Since today’s media reports MAS has
asked Rolls-Royce and Boeing specifically about the data. As far as Rolls-Royce and
Boeing are concerned those reports are inaccurate.
