I am not unsympathetic with Longview.

When Nugent came to my community to perform at our county fair, it was the most foulmouthed performance I have ever heard, and it could be heard far beyond the fenced off stadium where he was "performing". The F-bombs were frequent, loud and clear, in addition to a number of other profane words and scatological terms. This at a fair meant for families with a great many children present throughout the area.

It was disgusting and for me, a Conservative, incredibly embarrassing. He's a grown man and should have known better. I hope he never comes back, as if they would even invite him.

I’m not fond of foul language myself, but foul language is not why he was cancelled. Presumably, if he hadn’t made his comments about Zer0 then Longview would have accepted any number of f-bombs.

The first time I saw him in concert I was fourteen or so and he really shocked me with his mouth. That language was not used at home or in school at the time. Nowadays that’s how you give directions to someone that’s lost! Things have changed.

I was born and raised in Michigan, and I remember when Ted had his own radio station in the Detroit area in the 90’s. I don’t recall him ever dropping “F” bombs, or any other profanity for that matter. What I do remember is that he had a serious axe to grind with clinton and reno, and the majority of his audience had the same view. This wreaks of a concern troll incursion.

To be expected at a rock concert. LOL

Being a 'Conservative' doesn't necessarily make one an angel.

Right. It’s a July 4th event not a political rally.
Ted gets a bit over the top. Obviously Longview hasn’t a problem with Teds being conservative since that’s hardly a secret.
As you said this is a family oriented event and Teds Schtick is really not suited to children.
