LIGNET put out a report, substantiated yesterday, that there sources got their information from Boeing sources, which is covert. Not that they got their information from the Boeing Company because theyre involved in the investigation, that the airplane was in Pakistan. That was confirmed by LIGNET on Monday and I got another source at LIGNET that confirmed it yesterday
I do believe that those people in Pakistan, in the ISI, those people who knew where Osama Bin Laden was and didnt tell us. I believe those same elements could be involved with getting that airplane into a Pakistan air force base.
Sorry about that, realized I was too plowed to fly and had to walk the rest of the way home last night..
Maybe but Iran needs China's proxy North Korea and Iran needs China's continued support in the U.N.
Let’s say this is true. What’s in it for Pakistan? Isn’t this a very high risk enterprise for them? China and Pakistan have been allies going back to the 60’s. Would Pakistan keep 200+ Chinese citizens captive? Would they have allowed China to think that they didn’t know anything about the plane, while everyone is looking for it?
As long as the plane stayed 200+ miles offshore, it would not be seen on India radar.
Pssst — not so loud!
Exactly!
Think! If they hijacked it to Pakistan what has happened to the 239 passengers for the last 17 days? Did they murder them? Holding them for ransom? Really stupid if they did. If they flew it to Pakistan, hid it in a hangar and reprinted it to fly as a bomb into Israel then they would have no need for the passengers and would have killed them. That is ridiculous. The plane is in the ocean. All dead. Plastic traces may float to Australia or India in a year or five years and be identified,.........or not.
If in Pakistan, it is being refitted with extra fuel tanks that will enable it to be flown anywhere in the world with just maybe a nuke onboard.
Can’t be turned off.
Crash and immediate sinking would block the signal.
You believe terrorist have any qualms about killing people? They would care less if they plan on using the aircraft as a nuke delivery device.
I have a few questions for you....
1) what happened to the passengers?
a) they’re dead
b) they’re hostages/future slaves?
2) do you think that hijacking such a plane, filled with Chinese Nationals is an Act of War?
3) do you think the Chinese are going to let such an act perpetrated against its citizens go unpunished if found?
Yes, post 6 should be removed.
FR has always been for discussion, not Babylonian censorship.
.
Could the Iranians be interested in whatever cargo the plane was carrying? I thought Iran, via Pakistan, as well.
Why steal a Boeing 777 when anyone with the resources to steal it could go out and buy one without attracting all this attention?
Boeing 777 wait list is three years foe a new one from Boeing
Why steal a Boeing 777? What are you gonna do, start your own airline with one stolen Boeing 777?!
This op definitely cost a tiny fraction of that.
These things have been in service since 1995. You can buy one secondhand if you’re in the market for it.
Are you sure you want another thing to mow around?
$30M for a used Boeing 777 that can be purchased and put in service without attracting much attention at all ...
OR
... several dozen hours of preparation for a hijacked Boeing 777 with about a 0.001% chance of success for whatever the ultimate mission is.
I'm still not sure I see what the "mission" is supposed to be, if this is how someone decided to go about carrying it out.
