Don’t make too much about 20 Freescale people being on the plane. Semiconductor companies ALL have fabs in Asia and they fly teams there so often it’s probably rare when there are not at least a couple on a flight. Besides, Freescale makes cheap popcorn stuff that you’d find in appliances, cars, and mobile devices, they’re far from a think tank or black outfit. And these were process engineers and technicians, who do things to optimize production yield and quality. Not trivial but truly not top secret stuff either. If anyone wanted to abduct them, all they’d have had to do is offer them a better job. Preferably one that doesn’t require them to fly to Asia as often.

There is more than meets the eye with people on that plane.

Or maybe it is all just some big coincidence...............that went POOF in the night

“Far from a think tank or black outfit...”

That’s only true if the black dept was publicly known. If it was a true black dept, we wouldn’t know about it.

Btw, what is a Verification Engineer at Freescale? Does that fit into your mentioned categories?
